Perhaps Today

All too often I find my focus on the things that are seen and have absolutely no value in eternity. Easily I loose sight of the vast plan God has created. As believers our purpose on earth is to have the light of Christ shining through us continuously. Perhaps if eternity were today we’d love others a little more, take more time for the lost souls around us, and live worthy to hear our Saviour say, “well done my good and faithful servant.”

But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with the cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to stand before the Son of Man.
